Supplementary Candidates List for 2013/2014 Session Admissions

The Federal University Dutsin-Ma has offered provisional Supplementary admission into its various Degree Programmes for the 2013/2014 academic session to the following Candidates (download list here):

  1. Candidate should check the following admission list to confirm their names and Department/Programme of Study admitted in the University.
  2. Candidates should note that application for change of course will not be entertained

Registration and Resumption Guidelines for Newly Admitted Candidates

  1. Candidate should check the University website www.fudutsinma.edu.ng to confirm that their names are on the admission list and Department/Programme of Study admitted in the University.
  2. Candidates are advised to study carefully from the University website the specific Departmental subjects requirements before coming to the University to start registration.
  3. All candidates should note that, the University requires Credit pass in English and Mathematics in all its programmes.
  4. Successful candidates of 2013/2014 session admissions are to report to the University for clearance/Registration fromWednesday 4th to Thursday 12th December, 2013.
  5. The academic activities for the first semester of 2013/2014 session have commenced.

Undertaking Against Cultism

All admitted candidates must download the Undertaking Against Cultism (Form FUD/01) from the University website. Both the Parent/Guardian and the candidate must sign a copy of the form and tender it at registration point in the University (Note that you will not be registered without the signed form).

Registration Period

Newly admitted candidates into 200/100 level stand the chance of losing the provisional admission slots if they do not undergo the Screening/clearance process and pay the acceptance fees within the stipulated period from 4th to 12th December, 2013. Successful candidates are advised to come to Dutsin-Ma and make the payment to the following Banks:

  1. United Bank for Africa (UBA), Kankia Bye-Pass, Dutsin-ma
  2. First Bank Plc, Kankia Bye-Pass Dutsin-ma
  3. Unity Bank Plc, Hospital Road, Beside NATO Motor park, Dutsin-ma

Hostel Accommodation

Limited hostel accommodation is available on first-come-first-serve basis for male students, however the University shall endeavour to provide female students accommodation in the Hostels. Rooms will be automatically allocated to a student by the portal upon payment of fees. After registering on the portal, download Form FUD/06 to know the hostel you are allocated.

Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission

All newly admitted candidates are required to pay a mandatory acceptance charge of N10, 000 only and print Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission (Form FUD/02).

Courses for the Semester

Check the courses you are to offer in the first semester on the University website. Make sure you don’t register more than 24 credit units.

List of Items to Bring for Clearance and Verification

Come along with the following Items:

  1. Signed copy of Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission (Form FUD/02) from the Portal
  2. Printed copy of Letter of Provisional Admission from the Portal
  3. Printed copy of Admission Letter from JAMB website www.jambonline.org.ng/unifiedtme
  4. Original and photocopy of Birth Certificate
  5. Original and photocopy of O’ Level certificates/statement of results
  6. Two copies of passport photograph
  7. Letter of Reference from a person of reputable standing in the society vouching for your good behavior
  8. A signed copy of Undertaking Against Cultism (Form FUD/01) downloaded from the University website www.fudutsinma.edu.ng

Confirmation of Registration

Once you fill your forms online and click submit, check back on the portal after 2 days to print the approved registration forms.

Authentication of NECO/WAEC /NABTEB Results for Newly Admitted Candidates

All newly admitted candidates should submit a copy of NECO, WAEC or NABTEB statement of results at the registration point in the academic office for authentication/verification of all qualifications presented for admission.
Direct Entry (DE) candidates should note that National Certificate in Education (NCE) and National Diplomas (ND) will be considered at the registration/clearance point.

Registration Guidelines for Newly Admitted Candidates

  1. Check the University website www.fudutsinma.edu.ng to confirm that your name is on the admission list and Department/Programme of Study you are admitted to study in the University. Alternatively, visit http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions, enter your jamb number, select “check admissions” from the drop down and click continue.
  2. Check the JAMB website and print your original admission letter from www.jambonline.org.ng/unifiedtme to be tendered during clearance at the Academic Office.
  3. Go to http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions and do the following:
    1. Type your Jamb Registration Number
    2. Select “Process Admission” from the dropdown list
    3. Click continue
    4. Ensure that all information provided on your online “Personal/Academic Data” forms are completely and accurately filled, as this is required for subsequent screening.
    5. Locate the “Printouts” tab; print and sign your "Undertaking Against Cultism (Form FUD/01)" if you are yet to do so. Note: Your parent and guardian should also sign. Also, you will not be screened without this Form
    6. Under "Payments" tab, click "Generate Transaction" button to generate your payment entry for "Acceptance Fee" of N10,000.00
    7. Print the "Transaction Slip" and take it with you to any of the designated banks to make payment.
    8. Return to the online Portal, under "Printouts" tab, print your "Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission (Form FUD/02)", and "Offer of Provisional Admission".
    9. Proceed to the Screening Officer(Academic Office) for screening with the following items:
      1. A signed copy of Undertaking Against Cultism (Form FUD/01)
      2. A signed copy of Acceptance of Offer of Provisional Admission (Form FUD/02)
      3. Jamb Admission Letter
      4. Original and Photocopy of Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
      5. Original and Photocopy of O'Level certificates/Statement of Results (WAEC/NECO/SSCE)
      6. Two Passport photographs
      7. Certificate of Indigenship/Citizenship from your Local Government Area.
      8. Letter of Reference from a person of reputable standing in the society vouching for your good behaviour
      (You are advised to clear with the Academic Office before proceeding to the Bank to pay school fees).
    10. On successful Screening, return to the online Portal, under "Payments" tab, click "Generate Transaction" button to generate your payment entry for "School Charges".
    11. Print the "Transaction Slip" and take it with you to any of the designated banks to make payment.
    12. Return to the online Portal, under "Course Registration" tab, select and register your semester courses. After Semester Course Registration, Check back after 24hrs to see if your Registration has been approved.
    13. Under "Printouts" tab Click and print your "Matriculation Oath form Form FUD/07". Sign it and Provide it on the day of Matriculation.
    14. If you require "Accommodation", proceed to the bank and pay "Accommodation Charges". After payment, you will be given a printout with your room Number on it.
    15. Remember to check "Personal Data" tab and ensure that all newly visible required fields are properly filled.
  4. Proceed to ICT Directorate for a Passport Photograph that will be uploaded to the University Portal.
  5. Submit a photocopy of all documents you brought for screening to your Department.
  6. After registering, print the following forms:
    1. Student Data Form (Form FUD/03)
    2. Course Registration Form (Form FUD/04)
    3. Medical Report Form (Form FUD/05)
    4. Matriculation Oath (Form FUD/07)
  7. Go to the University Clinic with the Medical Report Form (Form FUD/05) for medical checkup and doctor's report.
  8. Submit one copy each of your signed Matriculation Oath Form to your department and academic office.
